Samutsevich says will try to appeal court decision on Pussy Riot videos

MOSCOW. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Yekaterina Samutsevich, a member of the punk group Pussy Riot, intends to contest the court decision recognizing the group's videos as extremist material.

"Today's decision was expected. I will try to contest it," Samutsevich told reporters on Thursday.

At the same time, the court earlier declined to recognize her as an interested party.

Samutsevich also said she intends to consider the possibility of registering the Pussy Riot websites containing the videos on foreign domains in the near future so that people can continue accessing them.

According to earlier reports, the Moscow Zamoskvoretsky Court recognized videos of Pussy Riot "performances" as extremist material and ruled to restrict user access to sites containing these videos.
