Sberbank could borrow around $6 bln in 2013, as in 2012
MOSCOW. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Sberbank could borrow as much in 2013 as it borrows this year, around $6 billion, Anton Karamzin, the bank's deputy CEO, said at a conference call.
"Volumes will be alike," he said.
"The bank continues to grow," he said.
Karamzin said the bank would unveil more precise borrowing projections when its business plan is ready late December or early January.
Sberbank has borrowed $6.4 billion this year with six bond issues abroad: $1.3 billion in Eurobonds maturing in 2017, $1 billion maturing in 2019 and $1.5 billion in 2022; Eurobonds worth CHF 410 million ($449 million); Euro-commercial papers worth $160 million; and $2 billion in subordinated Eurobonds.
