Russian state defense order to top 1.3 trillion rubles in 2013 - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - The state defense order of the Russian Armed Forces will be 1.5 times larger than this year's in 2013, Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov told reporters on Wednesday.

"Funds assigned by the 2013 draft state defense order exceed the respective budget allocations for 2012 by almost 1.5 times," he said.

Borisov recalled that 900 billion rubles was allocated for state defense orders in 2012.
