Ukrtransgaz borrows $50 mln from three Ukrainian banks

KYIV. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Ukrainian gas pipeline operator Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukrainy, has opened a renewable credit line of UAH 200 million from PJSC Delta Bank, a UAH 120 million credit line from PJSC Pivdencombank, and a UAH 80 million credit line from PJSC Terra Bank.

The total loans are UAH 400 million ($50 million).

According to Ukrtransgaz, it signed appropriate agreements with the banks in the period from December 21 to December 26, 2012.

As reported, the cost of servicing a UAH 200 million loan will be UAH 59.837 million, that of a UAH 120 million loan - UAH 29.918 million, and that of a UAH 80 million loan - UAH 19.945 million (excluding VAT). Funds are raised for one year from the date the loan agreements were signed.

In mid-December 2012, Ukrtransgaz announced two tenders to open renewable credit lines of $50 million each and one more tender to attract UAH 200 million. The first credit line of $50 million is to be raised for one year, the second line of $50 million - for three years. A UAH 200 million credit line is to be attracted for one year.
