MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has submitted to the State Duma a bill amending the provisions of the law On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation dealing with the procedures for employing foreign workers.

The bill proposes changes to the legislation governing the legal status of foreign citizens that bans employers and people who commission work (services) from employing foreign workers as highly qualified specialists for trade services provided to buyers in retail trade in consumer goods (including pharmaceuticals) regardless of the product range, trade area, and forms of service.
