Grounds for prosecution in other Defense Ministry entities, not just Oboronservice - Stepashin
MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - There are serious grounds for prosecution in the Defense Ministry corruption case and detectives will uncover the culprits, Russian Audit Chamber head Sergei Stepashin told a press conference at Interfax.
"There are subjects for criminal trials in Oboronservice and some other entities. I can tell you that as a former interior minister and a co-chairman of the Association of Lawyers. Detectives will name the concrete suspects," he said.
Interfax asked Stepashin about the construction of a road to a commercial site, which, according to some sources, belonged to the family of ex-Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.
"The road, what about the road? We may as well speak about foot wraps abolished by Shoigu," Stepashin said.
"I do not think we should pay attention to petty things," he noted.
