Russian embassy in Paris sets up crisis center to deal with bus crash involving Russians

MOSCOW. Jan 19 (Interfax) - The Russian Embassy to France has assigned a consular worker to visit the site of the crash of a bus carrying Russian tourists and set up a crisis center dealing with the incident, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"At the present time, a representative from the embassy's consulate department has left for the crash site. Russian Honorary Consul in Lyon Philippe Bordier also joined the efforts to assist the Russian citizens. The Russian Foreign Ministry, along with the Embassy, is maintaining permanent contact with the French authorities to provide as much assistance to our citizens as possible," the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
