Gazprom Neft-Khantos starts test production at Yuzhno-Kinyaminskoye field in Khanty-Mansiisk District
KHANTY-MANSIISK. Jan 21 (Interfax) - LLC Gazprom Neft-Khantos, Gazprom Neft's subsidiary in the Khanty-Mansiisk Autonomous District, has started trial production at the Yuzhno-Kinyaminskoye field in the Surgut District, the oil company said in a press release.
Gazprom Neft-Khantos is producing its first oil at the Yuzhno-Kinyaminsky license section at previously built prospecting and exploration wells. The company will receive commercial flows from eight exploration wells.
Gazprom Neft-Khantos has already retested three wells and is now testing them in Christmas tree mode, with average daily oil flows at 30-50 cubic meters, the press release said
After the rest of the exploration wells are tested, the company plans to confirm the field's projected geological prospects and to start developing it on a large scale in 2013-2015. The first well pad is set to be drilled this August.
Established in 2005, Gazprom Neft-Khantos is one of its parent company's primary production enterprises. The company has operations in the Khanty-Mansiisk Autonomous District and the Tyumen region and carries out the lion's share of its oil production at the Yuzhnaya licensed territory at the Priobskoye field, which has around 200 million tonnes of recoverable oil reserves. Gazprom Neft-Khantos' C1+C2 combined oil reserves totaled 255 million tonnes.
