RusHydro chief visits Interior Ministry Tues

MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Chairman of RusHydro's Management Board Evgeny Dod visited the Russian Interior Ministry on Tuesday, although he did not submit a statement about theft from the company during the construction of the second Zagorskaya hydroelectric pumped-storage power station (PSPP), the ministry told Interfax.

"The director of RusHydro came to the Interior Ministry, but he did not submit a statement about funds belonging to the state-owned company having been stolen during the construction of the Zagorskaya PSPP-2," a ministry spokesman said

"However, Dod did submit a statement on the failure of Hidrostroy - a subcontractor for the construction of that same Zagorskaya PSPP - to pay taxes," he said.
