Actor Panin's death likely an accident - police source
MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - Movie actor Andrei Panin's death looks like an accident, a law enforcement source told Interfax.
"No signs of a crime are so far visible behind Panin's death," he said.
The Moscow city police department told Interfax earlier in the day that the body of popular Russian movie actor Andrei Panin had been found in an apartment in southwestern Moscow on Thursday morning.
"Andrei Panin's body with a craniocerebral injury was found at 18 Balaklavsky Prospekt Street on Thursday," a police spokesman said.
A team of investigators is working at the scene to determine the circumstances of Panin's death.
Panin's friends and relatives could not reach him for four days, and his acquaintance alerted the police on Thursday. Arriving at the actor's apartment, they found him dead with a head injury.
