Roscosmos and ESA sign agreement on ExoMars project cooperation
MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and the European Space Agency (ESA) will send two missions to Mars - in 2016 and 2018 - using Russia's Proton launch vehicles as part of the ExoMars (Exobiology on Mars) joint project.
A Russian delegation member told Interfax-AVN that the appropriate "agreement was signed by Roscosmos director Vladimir Popovkin and his ESA counterpart Jean-Jacques Dordain in Paris on Thursday."
