Rosneft appoints five directors for upstream block of merged company
MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Rosneft , which finished buying TNK-BP last week, has appointed five directors for the business subdivisions of the merged company's upstream block, a company spokesman told Interfax.
Andrei Lazayev, who was previously the head of TNK-BP subsidiary Tyumen Oil Research Center, will be the vice president and chief geologist.
Eric Liron, TNK-BP's former vice president for well work, will be vice president for drilling, development and services.
Zeljko Runje, who came to Rosneft from the Russian subdivision of ExxonMobil in December, will be vice president of shelf projects.
Sergei Brezitsky, the former vice president for production at Alliance Oil, will be vice president for production of the merged company. Brezitsky came to Alliance in 2011, prior to which he was executive vice president for upstream at TNK-BP.
Nikolai Ivanov, who was first deputy executive vice president for upstream at TNK-BP, was appointed advisor to the president and director of the planning, efficiency management, development and upstream investments department in the rank of vice president.
