Gazprom to spend 1.8 bln rubles on gasification in Kursk region in 2013-2015
KURSK. March 27 (Interfax) - Gazprom will invest 1.758 billion rubles to expand gas service in the Kursk region in 2013-2015, the regional administration's press office said.
The investment is stipulated in the gas supply and gasification program through 2015 signed on Tuesday by Kursk region Governor Alexander Mikhailov and Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller.
The region will provide 540 million rubles for the program.
The funds will be used to build 372 kilometers of rural gas pipelines and 269 kilometers of medium- and low-pressure gas pipelines, and to build and convert 64 boiler plants to gas. The gas distribution station in Kosinovo (GRS-10) will be rebuilt in 2013 and the GRS in Medvenko will be rebuilt in 2014.
Kursk region has set the goal of increasing the level of gasification in the region to 90% by 2015. Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC, a wholly owned Gazprom subsidiary, is the investor and coordinator of the regional gasification program. It is represented in Kursk region by Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Kursk LLC.
