Pharmacy Chain 36.6, VeroPharm to publish 2012 IFRS results April 30

MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - Pharmacy Chain 36.6 and OJSC VeroPharm , which is 51.8% owned by Pharmacy Chain 36.6, will publish their 2012 results to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on April 30, the companies reported.

In January-September 2012, Pharmacy Chain 36.6 reduced its net loss by 9% to 978 million rubles. Earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) also fell 9% to 1.189 billion rubles.

VeroPharm, meanwhile, posted a 938-million-ruble net profit to IFRS in the nine months of 2012, although earnings were down by 19% year-on-year. Revenue declined 8.5% to 4.151 billion rubles, and EBITDA reached 1.352 billion rubles, compared to 1.338 billion rubles in the nine months of 2011.

In mid-November, Russia's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) cleared AFK Sistema to consolidate 100% of VeroPharm. However, at this point Pharmacy Chain 36.6 and Sistema have suspended their negotiations over the asset.
