Derk Sauer appointed CEO of RBC
MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - Derk Sauer has been appointed CEO of OJSC RBC , the company said in a press release.
Sauer has been president of RBC since 2012.
In addition, Nikolai Molibog will take up the post as first deputy CEO.
The appointments must be approved at a board of directors' meeting that will be called soon.
Current CEO Sergei Lavrukhin, who has announced his resignation, will remain with the company as a member of the board of directors.
In July, RBC announced that RBC-TV general director Alexander Lyubimov would give up his second job at the company, that of editor-in-chief, effective August 1. Those duties will be taken up by his deputy, Andrei Reut.
RBC business information media is controlled by Mikhail Prokhorov's Onexim Group. It operates about 20 online resources and services, and owns RBC-TV, RBC Daily newspaper, RBC magazine and the Hosting Community group of internet companies.
