Top Ukrainian official to discuss preparations for Association Agreement signing in Brussels

KYIV. Sept 17 (Interfax) - Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Klyuyev will pay a working visit to Brussels on September 18 to discuss preparations for the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union in November, the council said in a press release.

During his trip to Brussels, Klyuyev is expected to meet with European Parliament President Martin Schultz, members of the European Parliament's delegation for contacts with Ukraine, the European Parliament's Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, as well as the president of this group, Hannes Swoboda.

The Ukrainian president's decree, dated March 12, 2013, appointed Klyuyev to coordinate Ukraine's work on its integration into the European Union and supervise the Ukrainian government's ties with EU institutions.
