Troika Dialog Bank to be rebranded

MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - Troika Dialog Bank, which was recently acquired from Sberbank by a group of individuals, will be rebranded and will develop as a universal bank with a focus on corporate clients in the Moscow region and offering mortgages for retail customers, the bank said in a press release.

The bank's new board chairman is deputy board chairman of CJSC Inteco Vladimir Akaev. Andrei Dronov was appointed president.

"Contained, weighted growth, based on high penetration of financial solutions to business customers has significant potential and will be the basis of the bank's strategy," Akaev is cited as saying.

The bank will be rebranded and open 10 branches in Moscow, introducing a service quality appraisal program and significantly expanding the products on offer, Dronov said.

The main direction for business will be serving companies, for which a wide product line is currently being devised. Retail customers will be offered the most popular commission products, payment cards, and a range of deposits.

The development of mortgage lending is especially important in light of the wide experience of development projects that the new owners of the bank have - Yury Zhukov, one of the founders of the PIK group, and Akaev.

Sberbank sold Troika Dialog Bank (number 470 by assets in the Interfax-100), which it obtained during its dela to acquire Troika Dialog investment company from 3D Distribution Limited.

The new company belongs in equal shares to Zhukov, three individuals who were previously on the board at KPK Bank: Dronov, Ivan Shostaku and Pavel Shepelyu, as well as Ukrainian former deputy and businessman Alexander Granovsky.
