Putin expects Dutch king to visit Moscow
MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said he expects Dutch King Willem-Alexander to visit Russia.
"We are expecting King Willem-Alexander to visit," Putin said in the Kremlin on Wednesday while receiving credentials from Ronald Van Dartel, the new Dutch ambassador to Russia.
Putin said that "the Netherlands is one of our largest trade and investment partners." "We have successfully conducted a set of business and cultural events within the framework of the Year of Russia in the Netherlands and the Year of the Netherlands in Russia," Putin said.
"As to the situation with the Russian diplomatic mission in The Hague, it was discussed in detail in a recent phone conversation with Prime Minister [Mark] Rutte," he said.
