Greenpeace expects Russia to lift all charges against activists from Arctic Sunrise
MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Greenpeace expects that the Russian Investigative Committee will drop all charges against the environmentalists detained for a protesting in the Pechora Sea.
"In general all charges should be lifted. There is no issue for charges or a criminal case," program director of Greenpeace Russia Ivan Blokov told Itnerfax on Wednesday.
He said there was no piracy or hooliganism in the actions of the Arctic Sunrise crew.
Earlier on Wednesday the Investigative Committee changed the classification of the actions of Greenpeace activists from piracy to hooliganism.
