Security measures near Polish Embassy in Moscow enhanced

MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - The situation around the Polish Embassy in Moscow is calm, security measures near it have been heightened and no rallies are being held for now.

Special police force has joined police units patrolling the premises of the Polish Embassy at Bolshoy Tishinsky Lane, the Interfax correspondent reported.

The situation near the embassy is calm, no rallies or pickets are being held and several people are submitting documents for visas as usual.

It has been reported that participants of a march of Polish nationalists in Warsaw threw bottles, flares and litter onto the premises of the Russian Embassy.

The Polish ambassador to Russia has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry over the incident.

"Polish Ambassador to Russia Wojciech Zajaczkowski has been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry due to yesterday's outrageous acts towards the Russian Embassy in Warsaw," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
