Joris Ide to invest 400 mln rubles in Novosibirsk region building solutions plant
NOVOSIBIRSK. Nov 12 (Interfax) - OJSC Joris Ide, which is part of Belgium's Joris Ide Group, will invest 400 million rubles to build a metal structures plant in the industrial and logistics park in Novosibirsk region.
Alexei Mozhnoi, the company's director, told the press Tuesday that annual capacity will be 12,000 tonnes of metal structures for pre-fabricated building frames and 2 million square meters of enclosures.
The project is expected to take two years to complete.
"This is the company's first project where we will implement production from a zero cycle. In 2014, we plan to start production and will already deliver finished products," Mozhnoi said, adding that projected capacity is to be achieved at the end of 2015 - beginning of 2016. The plant will create 110 new jobs.
Joris Ide implemented over 50 construction projects in Russia in 2013.
Joris Ide Group is an international group of companies, comprising 17 plants in seven countries, which manufacture pre-fabricated buildings and structures, sandwich panels, metal structures and other components of modern construction technology.
The SPARK Interfax database shows that OJSC Joris Ide was registered in 2006 in the Gatchina district of Leningrad region. It specializes in the production of metal structures for buildings. Revenue in 2012 was 763 million rubles and there was a net loss of 11.6 million rubles.
The 2,000 hectare industrial and logistics park is located 12 kilometers from Novosibirsk and six kilometers from Tolmachevo Airport. It currently has 17 residents.
