Halyk Bank increases IFRS net profit 4.1% in 9M
ALMATY. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's Halyk Bank Kazakhstan raised net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 4.1% year-on-year in January-September to 56.2 billion tenge, the bank said in a report.
Assets grew 3.9% to 2.501 trillion tenge during the 9M (153.18 tenge/$1 on Nov. 18).
Net interest income before loan-loss provisions rose 12.4% to 77.074 billion tenge.
Profit before tax grew 3.7% to 68.031 billion tenge and liabilities went up 2.7% to 2.124 trillion tenge.
Halyk Bank's equity increased 11.2% to 377.341 billion tenge, and charter capital rose 2.4% to 147.189 billion tenge.
The State Financial Supervision Committee of the Kazakh National Bank ranked Halyk Bank 2nd by assets among the 38 second tier banks operating in the republic.
