Russian and British diplomats mull Iranian nuclear program and Syrian chemical disarmament
MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and British Ambassador to Russia Tim Barrow at their Wednesday meeting discussed the Iranian nuclear program and the chemical disarmament of Syria, a statement posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry website says.
"Opinions were exchanges on topical international issues with an emphasis on the Iranian nuclear program and chemical disarmament in Syria. The G8 agenda was also discussed with due account for the upcoming transition of presidency in the group from Great Britain to the Russian Federation," the report says.
