Greenpeace activists stage anti-Gazprom rally in Davos

DAVOS. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Greenpeace activists have staged one more rally against Russia's Gazprom , this time in Switzerland's Davos where the World Economic Forum is currently being conducted.

Several people wearing costumes of polar bears are lying on the pavement near the entrance to the congress center and are holding signs saying "Gazprom was here," the Interfax correspondent reported from Davos.

Activists wearing Greenpeace jackets distribute leaflets urging against investment in Gazprom shares, whose environmental policy, according to the authors of the document, "has been stuck in the ice age."

Police do not interfere with the Greenpeace rally for now. British Prime Minister David Cameron, who passed by with a big delegation, did not pay attention to the performance.

Gazprom traditionally does not send representative delegations to Davos.
