TGK-11 reduces electricity generation 10.5% in 2013

OMSK. Jan 30 (Interfax) - TGK-11 generated 8.8 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in 2013, 10.5% less than in 2012, the company reported.

TGK-11 delivered 7.55 billion kWh to the grid last year, 11.1% less. Output of heat declined 3.1% to 15.9 million GCal, mainly due to unseasonably warm temperatures.

Electricity sales declined 10.4% to 9.1 billion kWh, reflecting a decline in capacity utilization by the system operator.

The share of natural gas in the fuel balance edged up to 46.17% in 2013 from 45.79% in 2012, while the share of coal edged down to 53.34% from 53.73%. The share of fuel oil was unchanged at 0.49%.
