All govt departments, agencies still working - spokesperson
KYIV. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government continues providing vital public services despite the political standoff, Acting Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov's press office said.
"The Ukrainian government continues its work despite the tense political standoff in the country. On Thursday, February 20, all ministries and departments and their structural units are performing their duties," the statement said.
The government's main efforts are aimed at maintaining the provision of vital public services, the country's food safety, proper functioning of utilities and other services, as well as hospitals and schools, the statement said.
Also, the Cabinet of Ministers maintains regular contact with the regions and is in control of the domestic situation, the statement said.
