Head of prison arrives at Tymoshenko's clinic

KHARKIV, Ukraine. Feb 22 (Interfax) - The head of the prison where former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko was sent to serve her sentence in 2011, on Saturday arrived at the clinic in Kharkiv where she has been taking inpatient treatment since May 2012.

Tymoshenko allies who were standing outside the hospital said Ihor Kolpashchykov, chief of the Kachanivska Correctional Colony in Kharkiv, had made no comment as he was entering the clinic.

An Interfax correspondent reported from the scene that there were no restrictions on entry onto the clinic premises but that police wearing helmets and kneepads were posted on them.
