Lavrov denies Kyiv claims of Russia's alleged role in events in southeastern Ukraine

BEIJING. April 15 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has dismissed claims made by the new Ukrainian authorities concerning Russia's alleged involvement in the ongoing events in southeastern Ukraine as "nonsense".

Kyiv "is inventing tales in order to justify its criminal plans, lugging into them all thinkable and unthinkable offences on the part of the Russian Federation, which has allegedly organized all this," Lavrov said at a press conference after talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Tuesday.

"That is the biggest load of nonsense I have ever heard," he said.
