Medvedev instructs Rosgranitsa head to start equipping border with Ukraine in Crimea

MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has instructed Konstantin Busygin, the new head of the state agency for the development of the state border facilities, Rosgranitsa, to start equipping the state border with Ukraine immediately in view of Crimea and Sevastopol's recent integration with Russia, Medvedev's spokeswoman Natalya Timakova said.

"The first instruction which the prime minister has given to Rosgranitsa's new head, Konstantin Busygin, is to start equipping the state border with Ukraine immediately, given Crimea and Sevastopol's integration with Russia," Timakova said.

Busygin will fly to Crimea shortly. The Republic of Crimea's acting head Sergei Aksyonov was informed about the visit in telephone talks, she said.
