Moscow holds talks with Syrian opposition representative

MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Qadri Jamil, a representative for the Syrian opposition Popular Front for Change and Liberation, in Moscow to discuss the Syrian settlement process.

The meeting was held on Tuesday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website.

"The conversation included a detailed discussion of the current situation in and around Syria with an emphasis on the need to look for ways of swift political settlement of the Syrian crisis," the ministry said.
