Eurasian Econ Community energy, infrastructure issues sorted - Putin

MOSCOW. April 30 (Interfax) - The energy and infrastructure issues related to the creation of the Eurasian Economic Community were generally agreed on during Tuesday's meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk on Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with government ministers on Wednesday.

"Unfortunately we couldn't clear up all the reference points, as planned, this was impossible in such a short amount of time. But the major things are all agreed in the sphere of energy and infrastructure," Putin said.

He asked the government ministers together with their colleagues from Belarus and Kazakhstan to resolve the outstanding issues.

He said the treaty on the Eurasian Economic Community ought to be signed in May.
