Other Russian regions, besides Rostov region, should take refugees - Sergei Ivanov

TAGANROG. June 19 (Interfax) - The Rostov region has reached its limit for taking refugees from Ukraine and other regions should join in, Kremlin administration chief Sergei Ivanov said.

"The Rostov region is dealing with the increasing flow of refugees, though not without problems. However, it can't go on like this forever. It needs help, including from the federal level," Ivanov said at a meeting on issues relating to assistance for Ukrainian citizens who have been granted temporary asylum in Russia.

"Something is already being done in this direction," he said.

Ivanov also asked the heads of the Belgorod, Voronezh, and Bryansk regions, and the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories about their capabilities for taking refugees.
