Russian-Ukrainian rights mission to begin work later than planned - Pamfilova
MOSCOW. June 30 (Interfax) - The Russian-Ukrainian human rights mission will start working later than planned, Russia's Human Rights Commissioner Ella Pamfilova told Interfax on Monday.
"Unfortunately, the mission's delayed start is through no fault of our own. I and my colleagues are ready to go to troubled regions any time, even today," Pamfilova said.
Pamfilova and her Ukrainian counterpart Valeriya Lutkovska set up a joint group during talks in Kharkiv on June 13 to deal with human rights problems and to monitor the situation in southeastern Ukraine.
