Two customs posts in Rostov region not working
ROSTOV-ON-DON. Aug 18 (Interfax) - The customs posts Matveyev Kurgan, Taganrog customs, and Voloshino, Millerovskaya customs, are currently not working, Rayan Farukshin, an official with the Southern Customs Department, told Interfax on Monday.
"The Ukrainian checkpoints Uspenka ad Krasna Talovka are not working, Russian customs officials are in their workplaces and are ready to let private individuals and road vehicles cross the border," Farukshin said.
The other customs checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border in the region in the area of responsibility of the Southern Customs Department are working normally, he said.
Farukshin recalled that road vehicles have started moving through the Ukrainian checkpoint Marinovka, which has been closed for two months. A total of nine cars have entered Russia and six cars have left Russia through the Russian customs checkpoint Kyubyshevo, Taganrog customs, which is the Russian counterpart of Ukraine's Marinovka.
