Ukraine-EU-CU meeting due in Minsk on Aug 26 - Poroshenko's press office

KYIV. Aug 19 (Interfax) - A high-level meeting involving Ukraine, the European Union and the Customs Union will be held in Minsk on August 26, according to the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's press office.

"The President of the European Commission has backed the Ukrainian president's initiative to invite the EU to attend the high-level meeting. On August 26 Minsk will be hosting the meeting between Ukraine, the EU and the Eurasian Troika (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia) to discuss the implementation of the EU-Ukraine association agreement, energy security and the stabilization of the situation in the Donbas region," according to a statement posted on the Ukrainian president's website.
