Journalist missing near Donetsk put on list of POWs for exchange

SIMFEROPOL. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk Republics have put Anna Mokhova, a journalist from First Crimean television, who went missing near Donetsk, on the list of POWs whose return they are demanding from Ukraine.

"Representatives of the command of the Novorossia militia said that to us on condition of anonymity," Yekaterina Kozyr, editor-in-chief of the television channel, told Interfax on Thursday.

Kozyr earlier said Mokhova was captured near Donetsk on August 23 and is now held by Ukrainain Security Service officials on condition of working with the militia.

Kozyr reiterated that the staff of the television channel demands the journalist's release.

No official information on Mokhova has been received from the Ukrainain Security Service.
