Yatsenyuk: Ukrainian govt to not delay free trade zone with EU

KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government will not put off the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union, including the provision concerning the EU-Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said.

"[Russian Prime Minister Dmitry] Medvedev said today they wanted the Ukrainian parliament to pass a special resolution delaying the fulfillment of this agreement. I would like to formally state the position of the Ukrainian government - no one is going to make decisions delaying the implementation of this agreement and the issue is not being discussed," the premier said in the Svoboda Slova program aired by the ICTV channel on Monday night.
