DPR set to elect its parliament, head on Nov 2, no plans to join Verkhovna Rada elections
MOSCOW. Sept 23 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) is getting ready to elect its Supreme Council and head, DPR Prime Minister Alexander Zakharchenko told Interfax.
"We have scheduled the election of the Supreme Council and the head of republic for November 2. No other elections, including those of the Verkhovna Rada, will be held here," Zakharchenko said.
