Basmanny Court reschedules hearing of Savchenko case

MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The Moscow Basmanny Court has rescheduled to October 13 the hearing of the appeal filed by the defense lawyers for Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, who is accused of involvement in the killing of Russian journalists.

Justice Artur Karpov made this decision to enable Savchenko to attend the trial in person, the court told Interfax.
