Resumption of six-party talks on N. Korea possible given consent of all participants - Lavrov
MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - To resume the six-party talks on settling the North Korea nuclear problem, all participants in this process should exercise a balanced approach, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"Consent of all their participants is necessary for their resumption. The negotiations today confirmed that the resumption of the six-party talks is possible, but not immediately, and this will take some time, because too many confrontational [elements] have been involved in the situation," Lavrov said in summing up outcomes of negotiations with his North Korean counterpart Ri Su Yong on Wednesday.
