Russian gas production down 4% in 9M

MOSCOW. Oct 2 (Interfax) - Russian gas production fell 4% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2014 to 463.282 billion cubic meters, the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK) said.

The country produced 45.478 bcm in September alone.

OJSC Gazprom produced 311.638 bcm in the 9M (29.028 bcm in September), OJSC Novatek - 40.083 bcm (4.057 bcm), other oil and gas companies - 31.864 bcm (3.629 bcm) and production-sharing agreement (PSA) operators - 20.601 bcm (2.07 bcm).

Of Russia's vertically integrated oil companies, Rosneft produced 26.629 bcm of gas in January-September (3.186 bcm in September), Lukoil produced 13.782 bcm (1.507 bcm), Surgutneftegas - 6.982 bcm (0.767 bcm), and Gazprom Neft - 8.6 bcm (0.855 bcm).
