Inter RAO has not submitted application for NWF funds
PYATIGORSK/SOCHI. Oct 24 (Interfax) - OJSC Inter RAO has not submitted an application for funds from the National Welfare Fund (NWF), board member and the director of the company's strategy and investments division, Ilnar Mirsiyapov said on the sidelines of the Market Council's "Market electricity priorities in Russia" conference.
"No," Mirsiyapov said answering Interfax's question about whether or not the company had applied for funding from the NWF. "There is not enough for all," he said.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists on the sidelines of the CIS Electric Power Council meeting in Sochi that OJSC RusHydro also has not submitted an application for funding from the National Welfare Fund.
"RusHydro has not spoken to us. At the very least, there were no official applications," Novak said when answering a question by Interfax.

Among energy companies, the following made claims to NWF funds: Russian Grids , RusHydro and RAO Energy System of the East. In particular, ES East has submitted an application to the NWF for financing for projects in the field of heat generation and renewable sources of energy (the exact amount was not specified). The Energy Ministry asked that Russian Grids be allocated 217 billion rubles from the NWF for a number of projects in 2014-2020 and RusHydro - 35.3 billion rubles for projects until 2017 inclusively.
