VIENNA. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov may travel to Vienna to join negotiations between the P5+1 group of world powers and Iran before the expiration of a mandate to hold negotiations on reaching an agreement on a comprehensive settlement of the Iran nuclear problem.

"There is a possibility that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov may join the negotiations in Vienna by November 24 inclusive, that is, before the deadline when the mandate to hold negotiations expires," a source close to the Russian negotiating team told Interfax on Friday.

The mandate to hold negotiations is valid until midnight of November 24.
