Luhansk region governor accuses militia of ceasefire breach
KYIV. Dec 16 (Interfax) - The Luhansk militia fails to comply with "the regime of silence": there have been six attacks on populated areas in the Luhansk region over the past day, Luhansk region state administration head Hennadiy Moskal said.
"The declared regime of "silence" is not being maintained... Moreover, the gunfire aggression against Ukraine-controlled territory in Donbas has been mounting. For instance, the village of Krymske in the Novoaidarsky district was attacked thrice yesterday, by Grad rocket launchers at 11:30 a.m., by mortars at 12:35 p.m. and by automatic grenade launchers and light weapons at around midnight," says a report posted on the Moskal website on Tuesday.
There were no civilian casualties.
Besides, there were sporadic submachine gun and large-caliber machine gun fire exchanges in Stanitsa Luhanska. There were no civilian casualties there either and public utility service was good with minor exceptions.
