Economic sanctions bad for all - Dvorkovich
GORKI. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Sanctions are pointless and harmful for everyone, the primary goal is to focus on accomplishing our own plans regardless of oil prices and external pressure, Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said.
"With regard to the sanctions. These by no means depend on us and have nothing to do with what we do. We consider them pointless and harmful for everyone. But we did hear signals in the past few days that the sanctions, firstly, will be extended, and secondly, might be expanded. I have nothing else to say on this subject," Dvorkovich told reporters.
He stressed that the government's priority is "to focus on its own policies which need to be implemented anyway, whatever the oil price, whatever the sanctions."
