FAS to return to exchange manipulation case against Bashneft, Rosneft, Lukoil in one month
MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) will continue the review of the exchange manipulation case against OJSC Bashneft , OJSC Rosneft , OJSC Lukoil and LLC Lukoil-Reservnefteprodukt over the next month, FAS deputy head Anatoly Golomolzin said.
"It is possible at the end of February or beginning of March," he told journalists on Friday, adding that separate proceedings had come from the case.
"We brought in other people with information on the circumstances of this case," Golomolzin added.
It was previously reported that later last year, the FAS had postponed the case's investigation concerning Bashneft, Rosneft, Lukoil and Lukoil- Reservnefteprodukt until 2015 due to signs of manipulation on the exchange.
"The legal investigation has been postponed since additional information was requested. The next hearing will take place in January most likely," the FAS' press secretary, Anna Orlova, told Interfax.
She did not say what additional materials had been requested by the FAS commission to consider the case against the oil companies.
