Peskov: Normandy Four should not ignore unilateral non-compliance with Minsk deal

MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - All countries involved in the Normandy peace process for Ukraine should bear responsibility for the fulfillment of the agreements reached in Minsk on February 11-12, 2015, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"All these countries [Normandy Four members] should bear their part of responsibility for the fulfillment of the terms [elaborated in Minsk]. The neglect of the Minsk agreement's non-fulfillment by one of the sides is not helping the normalization process, but rather doing the opposite," he said, answering a question whether Moscow had received a response from Paris and Berlin to its appeal regarding Kyiv's failure to meet the Minsk package.

"This is not about the appeal. There cannot be any official appeals in this case. The [Normandy Four] countries are guarantors of the Minsk agreements," Peskov said.
