Assad regime misses chance for political settlement - opposition member

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - The Syrian authorities have missed a chance for political settlement, said Samir Aita, a senior member of the Syrian Democratic Forum.

"The regime has yet to understand what a Syrian citizen is, and I think that the Syrian regime has missed its chance for a political solution," he said at a press conference.
