Tuleyev appointed acting head of Kemerovo region until elections - Putin
MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Aman Tuleyev, whose powers as governor now expire, acting head of the Kemerovo region until elections.
Putin said this in a meeting with Tuleyev on Thursday.
"I am asking you to fulfill the duties until the elections," Putin said to Tuleyev.
"It's a great honor to me. I serve Russia!" Tuleyev said.
