Speculations on missile defense sites in Ukraine 'wish-wash' - Lavrov

MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has called the speculations of Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov on the possible deployment of missile defense elements in Ukraine futile.

"I have not seen this statement, I should take a look at it although I think it is quite pointless to read such things, they are absolutely unpromising and counterproductive, they are nothing but wish-wash," he told reporters in Moscow.
